A Prayer Room thrives on believers who come to yield themselves to Him

  • These are those who understand that the Spirit of God Has, Is and Will Be continually active in their life.

  • The soul that experiences this aspect of His faithful love is compelled to respond. They will understand and welcome others, who like themselves, are given to honor Him in their own unique response to His faithfulness.

  • This is the spirit of Colossians 3:16, repeated in Ephesians 5:18-20:                       …be filled with the Spirit, speaking (actively communicating) to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks (testimony) always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Core Beliefs and Understanding:

At its core, a PRAYER ROOM is purposed to always remain as:

1.  A safe place to learn to GROW in our OBEDIENT RESPONSE to Him.

2.  A place where all CAN and SHOULD…. LEARN to SENSE and to FOLLOW (be moved by) the “Unction of the Holy Spirit”  (Unction means passion / zeal)

3.  A place whose ministry is underscored by the objective of discerning and being moved by the revelation of His Purpose in His Presence.

4.  A ministry whose missional strength is found in the plan, purpose and provision of God, discerned through His Spirit.

5. We believe the plan, purpose and provision of God just mentioned is most clearly seen in the primary ministry of the Holy Spirit to reveal and make Jesus known to mankind. We perceive our role as one of responsive obedience through increasingly finding our place in "The Sound Of Heaven" (Link given and described elsewhere in this website).

Within the Prayer Room assembly, we purpose to reverence the One who reveals and empowers, while not forgetting that He is also able to be both quenched and grieved.

For these reasons, we believe in the importance of maintaining a life sanctified unto Him, as well as maintaining a “clean altar” in reverence.

The principle Jesus lays out plainly in Matthew 5:23-24 is paramount

to the "clean altar" that a Prayer Room is given to:

Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you; Leave your gift before the altar, and go your way;

first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
