Mission
Matthias Ministries
The following is our original ministry description given to New York State
for our legal incorporation in the year 2000.
The last two decades of growth have brought change,
yet the following still describes the heart of this ministry.
Matthias Ministries has been formed In response to Biblical truth and personal faith based upon God’s word.
The word of Jesus to the Samaritan woman at the well is as true as ever (John 4:23)…the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the father is seeking such to worship Him.
It is the belief of Matthias Ministries that the “move of God” which the church has long sought is close at hand and will be preceded and accompanied by a depth of truth and spirit in worship that is yet unrealized by today’s church.
It is the hope of Matthias ministries to promote “the unity of the faith” as well as bonds between existing churches and fellowships of like kind faith by and through praise and worship. We will endeavor to increase the scope and depth of worship at any and all houses or worship, that will indicate a willingness and desire for such, and who in turn will welcome our help.
Our Beliefs
The proper place for the Christian, and therefore each member of the Matthias family, is one of “rooted service” in the church body that he or she is called to be a part of.
All who represent the Lord’s body are in a continual process of transformation (from glory to glory). Therefore, we do not view ourselves as anything more than willing vessels and co-laborers given to serve in the spirit of humility.

Matthias Ministries is a “not for profit” ministry with a history of supporting the local church.
We are available to any church or fellowship of “like kind faith” for the purpose of raising up worship in a variety of ways listed within our corporate description below.
Working alongside existing music ministries
and musicians in a seminar, as well as in
actual and workshop manner.

Worship
Our belief & goal, which are intrinsically linked, is that the common "language" meant to shared between believers and churches is also one in the same with that which we believe is the language of Heaven... WORSHIP.
Goal
Matthias Ministries seeks to encourage and strengthen, through the grace He provides, and through truth centered and Spirit filled worship within the Body of Christ.
Cross Pollination
The term "cross pollination" is part of an amazing testimony which led to the name Matthias at the inception of this ministry. You can read this beautiful "but God" testimony which is documented within "Birth of a Vision".
It is our belief that God's plan and purpose during these times is irrespective of any single church or fellowship.
Even as" iron sharpens iron" so shall church influence church for His glory and purpose. The fragmentation within the Body of Christ that seems to be the hallmark of our time in history must and will give way to a time of increased harmony and inter-dependence between those of "like kind faith". This can and will, according to Ephesians 4, become reality without the neutralization of individual identities which are so important.

This is coupled with the realization that the Church for which Jesus Christ returns will be like that of which the Apostle Paul talks of in Ephesians 4:11:-16 ----------->

And He himself gave some to be Apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for work of ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ,
till we all come to the unity of the faith
and the knowledge of the Son of God,
to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro with every wing of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning and craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive,
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head- Christ- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
