Hello Fellow and Beloved Worshiper!
It has been a long time, literally years, since Matthias Ministries has sent out anything to the email list you’ve elected to be part of. I assume you’re receiving this because you have attended one or more of the beautiful “Evening of Hosting the Holy Spirit” events held across prior years.
God has been doing a very deep and powerful work in our ministry over the last few years that would be impossible to reasonably describe in this email. Therefore, I will be brief here and invite you to visit the MatthiasMinistries.com website should you desire to understand more.
What is worth mentioning here is the opening of our new Prayer Room purposed and sanctified to pick-up, and go beyond, where those memorable “Evening of Hosting the Holy Spirit” events left off prior to the pandemic. You can learn more about EHOP very quickly through the convenient Eastgate House of Prayer button located on the website’s front page. Clicking on either of the links above will bring you to a few pages that introduce EHOP. These pages help explain how we are moving after the vision the Lord continues to ignite within our hearts.
The last reason I write is to invite you to our first “official” EHOP gathering next Friday evening at 7pm. This invitation is only open to those who are willing to arrive understanding the cost of admission. That cost is arriving with at least one specific reason you are thankful for God’s work either in your life or one you are given to love. That’s it. Our hope is to assure everyone who arrives will know they are surrounded by like-minded worshipers, who come intentionally with a heart of thanksgiving. This evening through the prophetic aspects of Harp and Bowl praise and worship that welcomes your input will center upon one thing --hearts of GRATITUDE intentionally set upon entering His gates with Thanksgiving and Praise.

An Invitation To The Greatness That Can Be 2023
​
What an awesome blessing it is to be able to truthfully speak the words the next sentence will.
​
We thank God for the remarkably important Kingdom blessings He has given across 2022, yet even more for the Eternal Purpose about to be realized through them in 2023!
​
The Kingdom blessing that began in 2022 is part of a heavenly challenge big enough to know that God’s grace alone would enable Matthias Ministries to willingly accept it with a sober, yet joy-filled heart. We are referring to the creation of the Eastgate House of Prayer, or EHOP, discussed in detail on MatthiasMinistries.com

Do you believe the same God who has created the Universe, and realms of Glory unknown, has also determined to prepare His own people as only He can? Do you believe that His heart is to guide your very steps? If so, there is sufficient agreement between us for you to consider the next paragraph.
The Profound Importance of Heredity
While perhaps not an absolute truth, the old saying “an apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”, points to the notion of generational traits being something of a reality. Can it be helpful in some way to understand the family tree that we have descended from?
Many of us have heard of the business called “23 and Me”. It is known for implementing cutting edge technology to index an enormous data bank in order to derive a person’s genetic heredity. For a reasonable fee “23 and Me” has helped to satisfy the need of some to understand the origins of their being.
Matthias Ministries would like to advance the notion that one’s heredity is not only important, but that it is absolutely determinative to those who embrace their true heredity as a Christian. For those who have experienced the second birth Jesus spoke of, “23 and Me” can never satisfy the spirit and soul that only “23 and Him” will. “2023 and Him” is much more than a New Year slogan for those who understand our own reflection in another old saying – “like father, like son”. If this describes you than you are one who is ever learning how the Father, who gave us the very likeness of Himself in Jesus, works to create that very same image in you. The profound and simple truth is that our Creator Father is also the Beautiful Builder who works faithfully through process. Step by step and brick by brick He lays the foundation upon all He will build upon. The one who comes to understand the nature of His process, and who learns the wisdom of waiting upon the Builder, must also come to understand the importance of “how” one waits.
Some may say, “easy, we are called to wait in patience and faith”, and others might add “in hope and peace”. Obviously, both are correct, but there is more.
